WorkshopAround the Table XL IX
Saturday 17 October
📍 Cirencester

About this event
This free drop-in project invites residents and visitors to help create a giant Cirencester Tapestry inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry. Local people and festival illustrator Emily Moss have designed scenes of town life past and present, and visitors can add their own stitches using the two simple techniques found in the medieval original.
No experience is needed, and the workshop runs from 10am to 4pm on each open day from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October, closing on Sunday. The Old Department Store has level access from Market Place and wheelchair access to The Long Table, although there is no lift to the first-floor Sanctuary. Waterloo, Forum and Abbey Grounds are the nearest listed car parks, with limited parking in Market Place.
Free entry. Drop in during the advertised hours.
