Food & DrinkThe Long Table Lates: The Kimberleys
Thursday 14 May
📍 Cirencester

About this event
Hand-building a ceramic mask is more intuitive than it sounds — you're pinching, coiling, and sculpting rather than throwing on a wheel, which makes this genuinely accessible for beginners.
The sgraffito decoration comes after: coloured slip is applied to the surface, then scratched back to reveal patterns beneath, a technique that gives ceramics their characteristic etched look.
Tutor Pascale Wilson is a Bristol-based ceramicist with five years of teaching experience, and all materials are included. The finished piece gets kiln-fired on-site — allow up to six weeks before collection — so you go home with work in progress rather than a finished object, which is honestly half the appeal.
£105 for the full day.
