About this event

Beethoven's Emperor anchors Stroud Arts Festival's 80th year

The Capriol Chamber Orchestra marks Stroud Arts Festival's 80th celebrations with Gavin Sutherland's Capriol Overture, Beethoven's Emperor Piano Concerto with Clare Hammond, and Haydn's London Symphony. Jonathan Trim conducts and Natasha Bowen-Jones leads the orchestra, with doors opening at 7pm for the 90-minute concert.

Founded in 1987, Capriol presents three concerts a year in churches around Stroud, with repertoire from Baroque music to the present day. Holy Trinity is listed with disabled access, a hearing loop and on-street parking, although concert-specific arrangements are worth checking with the organiser.
