About this event
Broken Sleep Books brings Aaron Kent, Rhian Elizabeth and Jake Wild Hall together at Stroud's Chapels of Rest for a one-hour breakfast gathering of contemporary poetry, hosted by JLM Morton. Expect three writers from the independent press's current list rather than a conventional single-author reading.
Kent is the working-class poet and publisher behind Broken Sleep Books, while Elizabeth and Wild Hall bring their own links to the press's recent poetry list. It is a compact chance to hear three writers in a Grade II listed chapel within Stroud Cemetery, with the festival's other venues close enough to walk between if you are making a day of it.
Official cemetery guidance says there is no parking on site and warns that holes and burrowing can make the ground uneven. The event page does not state step-free access or an age/content restriction, so check with the festival if those details matter.
Ticketed. Book through the official Dobunni Poetry Festival event page.
