About this event
A workshop that starts with a walk through one of the Cotswolds' finest hotel gardens and ends with something handmade to take home — this is a good way to spend a morning.
Annabel and Alan Cusack from Honeybourne Pottery, a family studio on the edge of the North Cotswolds, lead the session from Whatley Manor's loggia — the outdoor workshop space tucked into the grounds.
You begin by picking flowers and foliage from the gardens yourself, then work through the process of rolling clay and pressing your botanicals into a cast panel roughly 10×8 inches. All materials, tools, and aprons are provided, along with refreshments throughout. Beginner-friendly and paced gently, with the workshop running from 11.30am to 2pm.
At £90 a head it's a treat, but the setting and the take-home piece earn it.
