Your First Pattern, Your First Pair

New Brewery Arts runs one of the better beginner dressmaking programmes in the Cotswolds, and the pyjama bottoms workshop is a reliable entry point: a simple shape, forgiving fabric, and a result you will actually wear. The day runs 10:15 to 4:15 — long enough to cover cutting from a pattern, sewing the main seams, attaching the waistband, and finishing the hem.

Sewing machines and cutting tools are provided. Bring your choice of fabric (the instructor will advise on types beforehand) and your lunch. No experience required.
