Autumn Barn Owl Needle Felting

Build a barn owl from armature to feather detail

Spend a full day with fibre artist Sarah Richards, turning wool and specialist barbed needles into a three-dimensional barn owl. You will build the armature, add layers of autumn-coloured wool and shape the face, feathers and pose before taking the finished sculpture home.

The workshop suits beginners and intermediate makers aged 18 and over, with all materials and equipment provided. The organiser currently lists it as sold out and offers a waiting-list route. Food must stay outside the studio, although a lidded bottle of water is welcome.
