About this event
Kaleb Cooper sat in these same classrooms before Jeremy Clarkson ever put a camera on him. St Mary's is the primary school he attended growing up in Chipping Norton, and this September it welcomes him back, not as a pupil but as the farmhand who became one of the most recognisable faces in British farming.
Expect a Q&A rather than a lecture: how a boy who started out keeping hens at 13 and worked his way through an agricultural apprenticeship at Moreton Morrell College ended up running the day-to-day at Diddly Squat Farm on screen, what changed once his book "The World According to Kaleb" became a bestseller and he took his own show on tour, and how life looks now he's married Taya and is raising three young kids.
A live auction runs alongside the talk, with a tractor ride with Kaleb himself among the prizes up for grabs.
Ask him the question everyone else is too polite to ask, then bid on the tractor ride before someone beats you to it.
Ticketed, over-14s only.
