Giant - The Play (15)

A storyteller called to account

John Lithgow plays Roald Dahl in GIANT, filmed live in London's West End. Set over one afternoon in 1983 as The Witches approaches publication, Mark Rosenblatt's play confronts Dahl over an antisemitic article and asks whether he will apologise publicly or risk his reputation.

Dark humour runs through this drama about the author and the harm his words can cause. The screening has a 15 certificate and runs for 2 hours 16 minutes, giving the argument time to unfold beyond a familiar storybook name.

You can choose the Sunday afternoon or Tuesday evening screening. The theatre's hearing loop is available at screenings and can be reserved through the Box Office, so arrange it when you book.

Ticketed. Book through Chipping Norton Theatre.
