About this event
Ambient Receiver brings Rebecca Goss, Lydia Unsworth, Ginny Darke and Eleanor Rees together for a focused poetry session at Holy Trinity Church. Their work moves through landscape, intimacy, myth and ecological attention, drawing on the journal's interest in the more-than-human world.
Andrew Hykel Mears, the founder and managing editor of Ambient Receiver, chairs the morning. His work spans poetry, publishing and music, and his doctoral research focuses on ambient eco-poetics, while the festival frames the session as an invitation to deep listening and aesthetic attunement.
The church is listed with a ramp, accessible toilet, hearing loop, large print and baby-changing facilities, although the organiser has not published event-specific seating or access arrangements. The festival says its Stroud venues are within walking distance of the town, but it gives no event-specific parking or public-transport advice, so check the joining details if you need a particular arrangement.
