About this event
Sue Jones, author of Votes for Women: Cheltenham and the Cotswolds, leads an illustrated walk to key places connected with the local campaign for women's suffrage.
The route brings together the people, opposing groups and violent scenes behind the campaign, including the story of Emmeline Pankhurst's 1911 photograph in Cecily Hill.
The walk begins at Corinium Museum. The route surface and step-free access are not described, so check with the organiser if you have mobility requirements.
