Summer Holiday Activity Day in Bampton

Free Sport, Dance and Skateboarding on the Rec

Bampton Recreation Ground hosts a full day of activities this August, organised by Lara Cowan and Sue Funge in partnership with the West Oxfordshire District Council Youth Team — and every single activity is free.

The day is split by age group: mornings are geared towards younger children, with afternoons opening up for older kids and teenagers. Across the day there is parachute games, boccia, badminton, indoor curling, archery with a local club, cricket with a local club, skateboarding sessions with Broken Boards, and dance with a YouMove coach. The Botanic Shed is running a competition too — the prize is a four-day gardening apprenticeship with Lara Cowan.

Free — details via Facebook.
