A Care Home Throws Open Its Dance Floor

Penhurst Gardens, the Porthaven care home in Chipping Norton, is bringing the party to Witney — and they mean it literally. The team is hosting a free rock and roll dance afternoon at The Corn Exchange, inviting the whole town to dig out the blue suede shoes and petticoats and shake, rattle and roll for ninety minutes.

It is a proper community event, not a ticketed show: no entry fee, no booking required, just turn up. The session runs 2:30pm to 4pm and is also listed through Dementia Oxfordshire, so it is a deliberately inclusive afternoon.
