Music & ArtsShadowing Hank: A Tribute to Hank Marvin

About this event
Witney Dramatic Society, established in 1946, brings Steven Canny and John Nicholson's spoof of The Hound of the Baskervilles to the Corn Exchange over Halloween weekend. The case starts with Sir Charles Baskerville's death on the foggy Devon moors and a rumoured supernatural hound, sending Holmes and Watson to investigate.
This is not a straight Conan Doyle adaptation. The play uses verbal and visual ingenuity, slapstick and theatrical invention to turn the detective story into a quick-moving comedy while keeping the familiar moorland mystery in view.
Both Corn Exchange entrances are step-free, all spaces are wheelchair accessible and wheelchair spaces can be reserved for seated shows. Woolgate Car Park is a short walk away, while the S1 and S2 buses stop at Market Square.
Ticketed. Book through the Corn Exchange event page.
