About this event
Philippa Langley brings the latest findings from her Missing Princes Project to Cirencester, revisiting what happened after Edward V and his younger brother Richard entered the Tower of London in 1483. The talk examines the evidence behind a mystery that has kept historians divided, with Langley's research challenging the traditional account.
Langley led the search that located Richard III's remains beneath a Leicester car park, and her current project applies a forensic, research-led approach to the missing princes. Vernon Harwood chairs the session, which should appeal to anyone who enjoys history that examines the evidence instead of simply repeating the familiar story.
Bingham Hall's main hall is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with an accessible toilet nearby. On-street parking is limited, with Forum and Beeches car parks nearby, so allow time before the doors open.
Ticketed. Book through Cirencester History Festival.
