The County Show Comes to Witney

Once a year, Oxfordshire's Young Farmers take over a field and put on a proper show — and this year it's Witney's turn to host.

The Oxfordshire YFC County Show and Rally is the annual gathering of Young Farmers clubs from across the county, competing in the YFC rally competitions and putting on a full day's entertainment open to anyone who wants to come.

Expect a main ring programme, dog show classes, trade stands, food, and the kind of organised chaos that only comes with a real agricultural show. Hosted this year by Witney Young Farmers at South Farm, Shifford — a working farm just outside the town. Early bird tickets are available now.

It's a good one for families and anyone who enjoys a show that's organised by people who actually know their way around a field.
