Motown for the Over-30s Crowd

ReVA has hosted Daytime Disco Events' themed afternoons before, from 80s discos to over-30s clubbing sessions, and this one turns the dancefloor over to Motown for a Saturday in September. Doors open at 3pm and last entry is 5pm, so the whole thing plays out across the afternoon rather than running into the small hours.

Expect wall-to-wall Tamla Motown: Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and the Supremes, the Four Tops, Stevie Wonder, backed by funk and disco to keep momentum through to the 8pm finish. Daytime Disco Events run this format at venues across the UK, built for a crowd that wants the clubbing atmosphere without staying out past bedtime. It's 18+ and photo ID may be checked on the door.

By the time the DJ swings from the Supremes into Marvin Gaye, most of the floor is singing along, not just dancing.
