Last Man Standing are a Cheltenham duo who have been playing together since 2009, and their set list tells you everything you need to know: Simon & Garfunkel next to R.E.M., Van Morrison alongside Mumford & Sons, Dire Straits and The Killers all in the same evening. It shouldn't cohere, but it does.

Rick and Neil play acoustic folk, blues and pop covers with the easy confidence of a duo who know each other's instincts well. They've played local pubs and inns across the area for years, and the White Hart's bar is the right kind of room for it: close, warm, no distance between the music and the people listening.
