When the Borders Glow

Hidcote's Grade I listed garden opens after hours this summer for a series of Golden Hour evenings — the chance to walk its famous garden rooms in the long, warm light of a Cotswold evening, without the daytime crowds.

Each event runs 6–9pm and includes street food, a fully stocked bar, guided tours from Hidcote's own staff, croquet, tennis, garden games and face painting. Ambient music plays across the grounds. National Trust membership is not required — these are separately ticketed events, and booking is essential.
