Food & DrinkThe Long Table Lates: The Kimberleys
Thursday 14 May
📍 Cirencester

About this event
A guided walk through the town centre — but not the kind that lingers on pretty facades. This one goes after the politics, the street disorder, and the religious troublemakers who made Georgian Cirencester considerably more interesting than its polished market-town surface suggests.
Led by Corinium Museum, the 75-minute walk covers how Georgian prosperity reshaped the streets you're standing in — the entrepreneurs and middle-class money that drove it, the entertainments that came with it, and the non-conformists and rioters who pushed back. Numbers are capped at ten, so it stays properly guided rather than a group shuffle. Meet at the museum entrance on Park Street; wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for a May shower.
Tickets are £9–£10 and booking is recommended.
