George and the Drag Queen

A village fete with a very unexpected guest

Pipeline Theatre's new play drops three actors into a St John Ambulance gazebo at a village fete. George and Maddy find their carefully ordered afternoon interrupted by Elias, better known as drag queen Eliana Sultana, as their stories begin to overlap through comedy, music and a changing set.

Isbourne Arts is turning the evening into a fete of its own, with bunting, a tombola and a biscuit-baking contest judged during the interval. Bring a plate if you want to enter, then settle in for a darkly funny theatre night with an unusually strong argument for taking biscuits seriously.
