EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert is Baz Luhrmann's documentary built from footage that spent decades sitting in archives. Long-lost film from Elvis's 1970s Las Vegas residency sits at its heart, spliced with rare 16mm footage shot during the making of Elvis on Tour and 8mm home film from the Graceland archive. The result is 96 minutes of the man performing — close, unfiltered, no dramatisation.

This afternoon screening at the Barn Theatre's cinema is a subtitled showing, designed for d/Deaf and hard of hearing audiences. The Barn Cinema is a compact, properly equipped screening room — the kind of place where a concert film lands differently than it does on a home screen.
