DWW Festival Day 3: Forest Green Roving (Medium, 7.7 miles)

A Forest Green drop-off leads to Uley Bury views

This linear walk begins with a coach from Dursley Bus Station to Forest Green Rovers, then heads through the valley to Nympsfield. The route turns through Dingle Wood and fields to Crawley before climbing to Uley Bury for a refreshment stop and views.

At 7.7 miles, this is a Medium-grade walk with a proper hill in the middle. Mick Thorpe leads the group past Angeston Grange and along the River Ewelme into Dursley, with the advertised finish at 3pm.

Wear sturdy footwear, carry a waterproof and bring enough food and drink, with some spare. Arrive at least 10 minutes early; under-18s need a parent or guardian and dogs are not allowed on festival walks.

Ticketed. The booking includes the coach transfer, and donations to support the festival are welcomed.
