DWW Festival Day 2: Intermediate Linear, Eastington to Dursley (Medium, 9 miles)

A coach ride out, a long walk back

This nine-mile intermediate walk begins with a coach from Dursley Bus Station to Eastington, then follows the canal towards the Missing Mile before joining the River Frome. Walk leader Colin Campbell of Dursley Rambling Club takes the route through Frocester and across the fields to Coaley.

From Coaley, the path climbs onto Cam Long Down before dropping onto the Cotswold Way back into Dursley. It is a point-to-point day with changing ground and a satisfying walk all the way home.
