Cinema Bambino: Pressure (12A)

A baby-friendly screening for a serious wartime drama

Cinema Bambino gives parents and carers a chance to watch a film with babies up to 18 months without worrying about every rustle or cry. The film itself is Pressure, a 12A drama set in the tense 72 hours before D-Day, as General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Captain James Stagg weigh the decision to launch the invasion.

This is a baby-friendly format, not a children's film. The BBFC lists infrequent strong language, moderate violence and injury detail, with the cinema cut running for about 100 minutes, so check the 12A advice before bringing an older sibling.

The practical touches include a pre-show tea or coffee, a parking area for prams and buggies, space for car seats in the auditorium, baby changing facilities and feeding anywhere in the Theatre. Step-free access to the stalls, bar and toilets is through the Spring Street bar door, with wheelchair spaces available through the Box Office.
