Talk & LectureThe Glosters in the Korean War: Why Is It Relevant Today?
Friday 16 October
📍 Cirencester

About this event
Ben Macintyre brings Redwood to Cirencester History Festival, tracing how a double agent known to MI6 as Redwood exposed a Kremlin plan in 1981 Tehran and helped avert a possible nuclear response. The talk draws on Macintyre's new book, a true story of espionage and deception at the height of the Cold War.
The one-hour event is sold out, but the organiser is taking names on a waiting list and says it may add a second event if interest is strong. Festival access information gives level entry through the North Door and accessible toilets, with several town-centre car parks nearby.
Ticketed. Currently sold out, with a waiting list available.
