The café known for quiz nights and bingo turns its evening over to a medium

Coffee at Odd Socks in Watermoor usually fills its evenings with quiz sheets, bingo cards and live football on the screen. This one goes to Kez Eggleton, a medium based in Stroud who works the spiritualist circuit across the South West, from Bristol's Westbury Park church to Paignton and Bishops Cleeve.

Doors open at 6pm for coffee and cake before the demonstration starts at 7:30pm, running for two hours and fifteen minutes. Expect platform mediumship: Kez picking up messages, names and reassurance from an audience of strangers rather than working from a script. It's an adults-only evening, and free parking is available at the café.

Whether you go along to test it or simply to listen, few venues in Cirencester give a medium this much room to work.
