Burford

Burford earns its reputation. The High Street sweeps downhill past honey-coloured stone buildings, past the Tolsey Museum and the Sweet Shop and the Cotswold Cheese Company, all the way down to the River Windrush and its ancient three-arched bridge. It's the kind of place that makes you slow down without really noticing.
