West Ox Arts Gallery

West Ox Arts is a not-for-profit gallery in Bampton Market Square, founded in 1973. Its free exhibitions change regularly, while the gallery shop stays open throughout the year, including between exhibitions. The shop sells work by artists and makers, including jewellery, ceramics, glassware, prints and cards. Workshops and art talks have their own programme, so check current dates and suitability when planning a visit.

The gallery is upstairs above the Post Office, with a ground-level entrance, permanent ramp and lift; a disabled toilet is available at ground level in the same building. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 11.30am to 4.30pm, and Sunday, 2pm to 4pm, with Monday closed. Market Square has parking for up to four hours and dedicated disabled spaces, subject to the posted restrictions and available spaces.
