The Model Village
The Model Village recreates Bourton-on-the-Water at one-ninth scale in the grounds behind The Old New Inn on Rissington Road. Built from local limestone and Grade II listed, it includes miniature versions of the River Windrush, the bridges and a model village within the model. It is a separately ticketed attraction.
It opens daily except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, with shorter hours during Greenwich Mean Time. Pay on arrival by card; there is no pre-booking. Narrow paths restrict access for pushchairs, wheelchairs, walking frames and rollators. A side gate provides a free front view for disabled visitors, but mobility scooters and motorised wheelchairs cannot enter. Only service dogs are allowed.
