Gordon Russell Design Museum
About
Gordon Russell Design Museum
Gordon Russell Design Museum occupies a former Gordon Russell Ltd workshop in Russell Square, just off Broadway High Street. Furniture, drawings, photographs and archive material trace the designer and company's work through Arts and Crafts, 1930s modernism, wartime Utility furniture and later production. The collection connects the finished furniture with the designs and workshop history behind it.
Buy admission on arrival by card or Apple Pay; the museum does not accept cash. Groups can arrange volunteer-led tours in advance. A ramp reaches the entrance and a lift serves the first floor. Opening relies on volunteers, so confirm hours before travelling, especially for a Sunday visit or a specific access requirement.
