About

Woodland House B&B

Woodland House is a seven-room B&B run by Ray and Naomi Verlaque from their home on a quiet cul-de-sac about six minutes' walk from Dursley town centre.

It sits close to the Cotswold Way and Stinchcombe Golf Course, which makes it a regular stop for long-distance walkers β€” the rate includes use of a hot tub and sauna (available April to October), and there's secure indoor bike storage with space for five bicycles. Naomi is a chartered physiotherapist and runs a therapy room on site for guests who want a sports massage or treatment; appointments need to be booked before arrival.

All seven en-suite rooms β€” named Emerald, Turquoise, Lilac, Bluebells, Velvet, Ruby Red and Ivory β€” come with a 32-inch smart TV, fridge, and tea and coffee.

The continental breakfast is included; a full English needs to be pre-ordered the night before. There's a shared guest kitchen and lounge, a putting green in the back garden, and table tennis available for groups booking the whole house. No pets are allowed.

Priced per room including breakfast, hot tub and sauna, it's pitched at walkers finishing a Cotswold Way stage, business travellers working between Bristol and Gloucester, and families using the Ruby Red room with its private bathroom and extra bed.
