About

The Treehouse Holiday Cabin

The Treehouse Holiday Cabin is a compact self-catering cabin tucked into a woodland garden right in the centre of Dursley β€” next door to the Grand Designs treehouse house that owners Jon and Noreen built on the same tight, wooded plot. Newly built and about 3m by 9m in footprint, the cabin sleeps two in a king-size bed, with an open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area, plus a separate bathroom with a walk-in power shower. It's an unusual find: genuinely secluded, surrounded by mature trees and a wildlife garden, yet you step out of the gate directly onto Dursley's high street.

The setup suits couples looking for a quiet Cotswold base rather than a full holiday let experience β€” no children under 12 and no dogs. There's free off-street parking for one car, gas central heating, Wi-Fi, a washer, and a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, and fridge. The Cotswold Way passes the driveway, and Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is a fifteen-minute drive. Nightly rates start around Β£89, with a two-night minimum stay. Check-in is by lockbox between 3pm and 8pm.
