About

Hollies Cottage

Hollies Cottage is a three-bedroom self-catering cottage built in 1738, sitting in Dursley's old town centre right on the Cotswold Way. The house runs across three floors connected by narrow circular stairs β€” a double en-suite at the top, a family bathroom floor with twin and single rooms in the middle, and a full kitchen, utility room, and living-dining room on the ground floor. It sleeps up to five. There is a small fenced courtyard garden and parking for two cars on a shared drive. Pets are welcome.

The location makes it particularly useful for walkers β€” the Cotswold Way passes the door and the town centre with its cafes, pubs, and the well-regarded Old Spot inn is under a minute's walk. Berkeley Castle is around five miles south, and the Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust is a similar distance. The staircase between floors is narrow and spiral, so it is worth bearing that in mind for anyone with mobility considerations. The cottage has been consistently rated close to five stars across more than two hundred Airbnb reviews, hosted by a long-term Dursley local.
