The Cotswold Nook
About
The Cotswold Nook
The Cotswold Nook is a single-room, self-contained guesthouse on Elm Grove in Dursley, run by host Joanne. The detached setup gives guests their own entrance, driveway parking, and full privacy β it functions more like a self-contained annexe than a traditional B&B. Inside, the en-suite double room is fitted out with a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk, a kettle, and a few thoughtful extras including chocolate and biscuits.
Dursley sits just off the Cotswold Way where it descends from Stinchcombe Hill, which puts the Nook in useful walking territory β Coaley Peak, Uley Bury hillfort, and Cam Long Down are all reachable on foot or a short drive.
Breakfast is available but must be booked in advance β Joanne provides a boxed option rather than a sit-down service, which suits early-rising walkers well. There is a bike store on site and outdoor seating. With just one room, availability is limited and it books out, particularly during Cotswold Way walking season. It is best suited to couples or solo travellers who want somewhere quiet and private rather than a social guesthouse atmosphere.
