About

Cotswold House Hotel & Spa

Cotswold House Hotel & Spa occupies a Grade II listed Regency townhouse right on the High Street in Chipping Campden - one of the best positions in a town that is itself one of the best in the Cotswolds.

The building is actually three interwoven houses, which gives it an irregular, rambling character that sets it apart from purpose-built hotel blocks: exposed beams in upper rooms, a sloped footprint that follows the street, Cotswold stone cottages at the bottom of the garden.

It is part of the Bespoke Hotels group but runs with a genuinely independent feel, and its 28 rooms and suites are spread across the main building and the garden cottages, some with private patios and hot tubs.

Accommodation runs from compact Cosy Rooms suited to solo or overnight stays, through Classic and Superior doubles, up to suites with separate lounges, stone baths, and fireplaces β€” the Seizencote and Grevel Suites being the most indulgent, named after local landmarks.

Hotel guests who book direct get two hours of complimentary spa access per day; the spa itself is a separate building up in the hotel gardens with a hydrotherapy pool, steam room, and a treatment menu using La Sultane de Saba products, open daily from 10am to 6pm.

This is a natural base for walking the Cotswold Way, visiting nearby Hidcote Manor Garden, or simply spending a few days in one of the most intact market towns in England.

Direct booking is worth it: you get better rates, no fees, complimentary parking, and priority room requests.
