Bampton Garden Plants

Bampton Garden Plants is an independent, family-run garden centre and retail nursery on Buckland Road, where the Gooddy family have grown plants since 1979. The range includes home-grown bedding, trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials, indoor plants, seeds and bulbs. The Gift Barn and Food Hall are parts of the same business: browse homeware, cards and children's gifts alongside preserves, chocolates, biscuits, savoury snacks and drinks from local and regional makers.

There is free parking and a covered bike rack, and the number 19 bus links Bampton with Carterton and Witney. The on-site Botanical Café serves breakfast, lunch and cakes; ordinary café visits are walk-in, while afternoon tea needs booking. Dogs on leads are welcome in the café. Check holiday opening before travelling, and allow for the café closing earlier than the garden centre.
