Willow Sculpture Workshop at Westonbirt

Turn a bundle of willow into something of your own

Spend a full day at Westonbirt Arboretum weaving willow in the Tree Tops indoor space, then take your finished piece home. Tutor Zoe will guide beginners through the techniques needed to create a sculpture, wreath, willow animal, garden ornament or bird feeder, with the project left to you.

All willow and other materials are supplied, and the day includes a 45-minute lunch break. Bring a packed lunch or buy something at the arboretum café, and bring secateurs if you have them, although pairs can be borrowed.

Arrive in good time to park and walk to the Learning Centre, and wear suitable clothing with an extra layer in case some work moves outdoors. Dogs are not allowed at the workshop, and the provider advises contacting Zoe in advance with specific concerns.
