About this event

Learn what water vole mitigation looks like in practice

This two-day professional course combines water vole ecology with the decisions behind mitigation work. Dr Merryl Gelling leads case studies on legislation and different approaches, followed by a site visit to look for field signs and learn how traps are set.

The second day turns to checking and collecting traps, with any captured voles processed as the course progresses. It is aimed at people with some prior experience of water vole ecology and includes practical animal-welfare considerations, with a CPD certificate available on request.

Ticketed. Currently sold out, with a waiting list available.
