Spanish Guitar and a Stomp Box at The Sheep

Stow-on-the-Wold's Sheep on Sheep Street runs a Friday evening music series through August, and this week Luke Brougham is playing. Brougham specialises in Spanish, flamenco and Latin guitar, but his set is not straight classical: he combines those styles with jazz and blues and builds his sound live with a stomp box and effects unit.

The Sheep is a 17th-century Brakspear inn with a full-length bar, a wood-fired kitchen running through the evening, and a rear patio with a built-in fireplace. A good room for an evening of this kind.
