About this event

The history behind Stanway's 300-foot fountain

Broadway History Society's October talk explores the history of Stanway House with Paul Hughes. The Jacobean manor is known for its 300-foot single-jet fountain, with a wider estate story that includes a gatehouse, church, medieval Tithe Barn and 18th-century water garden.

The talk takes place at Lifford Memorial Hall in Broadway, with doors opening at 6.35pm for a 7pm start. Parking behind the hall is limited, so allow time to arrive. It is an evening to learn about the house and water garden without making a visit to the estate.

Paid admission. No advance booking required; pay on the door.
