South Cerney - ARTventurers!

A Full Day of Art Inside the Barracks

For anyone expecting the usual hour of toddler messy play, this one runs longer. Duke of Gloucester Barracks in South Cerney opens its youth club for five hours on Monday 17 August, with ARTventurers running the activities as part of AWS Community Support's summer programme for Army families across North Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

The Army Central Fund subsidises the whole programme, which is how a five-hour session ends up costing just over six pounds a ticket. Expect the ARTventurers mix of sensory and messy play, painting stations and craft activities, pitched to whatever age group turns up rather than one fixed task.

Booking closes a few days before the date and spaces are limited, so it's worth getting a ticket ahead of the day rather than turning up on spec.
