The Sound of Silence in a Cotswold Theatre

Fifteen years of touring the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA — Edinburgh Fringe sell-outs, West End runs, standing ovations — and on 14 June Dan Haynes and Pete Richards bring Simon & Garfunkel Through the Years to the Cidermill in Chipping Campden.

The two have been friends since school, and the closeness shows in the harmonies. The show covers the full arc of the Simon & Garfunkel catalogue — The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson, Cecilia, The Boxer, Bridge Over Troubled Water and more — with the close vocal blend and intricate guitar work that made the originals what they were. BBC Radio called it a masterpiece. The Festival Theatre Edinburgh called it "one of the finest tribute bands in the world."

Tribute acts don't often earn that kind of press after fifteen years on the road. The Cidermill is a fine room to find out why.
