Room on the Broom trail at Westonbirt Arboretum

Calling all little witches — Westonbirt Arboretum's ancient woodland makes the perfect setting for a Room on the Broom adventure.

Based on the beloved Julia Donaldson picture book, this interactive trail takes families on a mile-long journey through the Old Arboretum to help Witch find her lost hat, bow and wand and gather the ingredients for her spell.

The hard-surfaced, largely flat route is fully accessible with no steps or narrow gates, making it easy for pushchairs and little legs alike. Each child gets a trail pack (£4) complete with stickers, spell cards, colouring bag and a pop-out star wand — and the trail ends with a photo opportunity with Witch and friends.

Available during standard arboretum opening hours. Perfect for children aged 2–7.
