About this event
Judging for the baking, art, photography and Lego competitions is finished before the gates to Great Rissington Club & Field even open at 1pm, which says something about how much this one Saturday now covers. What began as a straightforward village fête has grown into a ten-hour event listing 27 separate attractions, and most of what it raises this year goes to Kate's Home Nursing, the North Cotswolds charity marking 30 years of free hospice-at-home nursing care for local families in 2026.
The afternoon runs through a dog show with local judges and a Best in Show final, a Tug-of-War, Space Hopper Races, Wellie Wanging and a Ticket-2-Mic slot where anyone can grab the microphone and have a go. The RissiFest Players perform a comedy set called Gone to the Dogs at 3pm, classic cars line one side of the field, and local makers trade along the RissiFest High Street throughout the day. From 6pm live music takes over, followed by a vinyl DJ set running through to 10pm.
It's a rare village fête that still has people dancing after dark.
Ticketed, with under-16s free.
