About this event
Saxophonist and arranger Ollie Weston brings a quartet to Corinium Museum for an evening of George and Ira Gershwin. Tom Berge is on piano, Paul Jefferies on double bass and Charlie Stratford on drums, with ballads and swinging favourites opened up through live improvisation.
Weston also leads the Guildhall junior jazz course. The Jazz Club's candle-lit, cabaret-style setup places the audience around tables in the museum atrium, with snacks and alcoholic and soft drinks available.
Standard-view seats are arranged around the stage, while restricted-view seats sit slightly below floor level. The museum has disabled access and accessible toilets; contact the organiser after booking if you need wheelchair positioning or a particular seat. Old Station Car Park, GL7 1US, is about a two-minute walk away.
Ticketed.
