Food & DrinkThe Long Table Lates: The Kimberleys
Thursday 14 May
📍 Cirencester

About this event
A fundraising afternoon with a sharp premise: afternoon tea at Stratton House Hotel while you find out what was actually going on behind closed doors between Napoleon and Josephine — the politics, the gossip, the real story behind "Not tonight, Josephine."
Stratton House is a good setting for it — a proper country house hotel on the edge of Cirencester, and afternoon tea there is worth going for on its own. The talk covers why Europe's royalty and politicians were so invested in Josephine, and the complicated reality of one of history's most mythologised relationships.
In support of Leckhampton Court Hospice. Tickets via Ticket Tailor.
