FamilyNailsworth Festival 2026 - Fifteen Days of Events
Saturday 16 May
📍 Nailsworth

About this event
Four days in Fairford and the town puts on one of the most genuinely mixed community festivals in the Cotswolds. Now in its 30th year, the Fairford Festival runs Thursday 4 June through Sunday 7 June, centred on the Cricket Club but spilling out into the streets, the churchyard, and the surrounding lanes.
Thursday opens with a guided wine tasting evening with Mark Chamberlain of Chamberlain Wines (two sittings, £22), and a bat walk with a University of Gloucestershire academic if you'd rather end the night outdoors.
Friday brings The Curry House Conspirators into the marquee from 8.30pm, followed by a silent disco running until midnight.
Saturday is the big day — a festival parade from the Cricket Club at noon, children's colour run at 2.30pm (ages 2-10, t-shirt included), dog show with eight classes from midday, a festival market, craft tent, Irish dancing from Farrell School, and a full evening of live music: Mouth of the Thames, Harmonia, Operation 77 and Young Rosie, with a disco closing things out.
Sunday starts early with the 3k fun run at 9.45am and the sold-out 10k road race at 10.30am, before Zumba, the Festival Quiz, and a final afternoon of live acts including Molly All Stars and Primary School Bangers — a singalong of assembly classics that is exactly what it sounds like.
Free to attend for most events, with ticketed elements across the four days. Parking at the Cricket Club.
