About this event

The book club that began as a wartime alibi

In 1946, writer Juliet Ashton starts exchanging letters with members of a Guernsey book club formed during the German occupation. Mike Newell's 2018 drama follows her to the island, where a new circle of friends draws her into a hidden wartime story.

There is one relaxed daytime screening, designed for people coming with friends or on their own. The film is rated 12A and the venue lists a 124-minute runtime, with doors at 1pm for a 1.30pm start.

Both Corn Exchange entrances are step-free, all public spaces are wheelchair accessible, and wheelchair space can be reserved for seated shows. Woolgate Car Park is a short walk away, though the venue advises checking the signs because time limits vary.

Ticketed, with no booking fee currently listed by the venue.
