Cirencester Gardening Club Annual Show

Runner Beans, Dahlias and a Poem About Compost

The Cirencester Gardening Club, formally the Stratton & Baunton Horticultural Society, holds its Annual Show at Stratton Village Hall this month, with produce, flowers, baking, photography, floral art and handicrafts judged under RHS and NVS rules.

This year's schedule runs to 63 classes, from the Top Tray of vegetables to a hand-knitted garment, and anyone can enter for 50p a class. Online entries close at 9pm on Friday 21 August, and exhibits go into the hall from 7.30am on the day, cleared for judging by 10am.

Judged with the same care as the runner beans and the Victoria sponges.
